Bizsugar is a great platform to share views while learning from other people’s experiences.  I have found the site to be a veritable treasure trove of news, views and some thought provoking pieces of writing which break out of the regular mould.

It is the place to be if you have a mind of your own, a flair for the unusual and are driven by the desire to be different!

A great place to share startup stories and experiences, I have personally chronicled some startup stories and success stories that offer a lot of learning for existing and aspiring business owners.  The aim is to illustrate how people from all walks of life have hit bull’s eye with their business plans and strategies.

If you have a story to tell about success or failure (yes failure holds great lessons too) then Bizsugar is the place to tell people about it.  An engaging storyline, some great captions and a brief yet well told story is bound to arouse the interest of readers.

Despite the fact that Bizsugar has a number of categories under which people can post stories I would say startups are my favorite.  This section of Bizsugar has stories that are truly a source of great inspiration and learning for many an aspiring business owner or anyone who is struggling to stay afloat in business.  Even if you run a profitable venture learning from other startups, their successes and failures will undoubtedly help you in your future endeavors.

Get Votes, Comments & Traffic

Drive traffic to your site by posting on Bizsugar.  Hundreds of users read, comment and vote for stories that they like, are inspired by, identify with and even dislike.  The last one being important even if it sounds ridiculous; getting a counterview helps you know what you are thinking might not be the best way of going about something.

Almost every successful blogger has emphasized the importance of getting comments on blog posts.  Each time I have gone through hot topics on Bizsugar I have found that other contributors have taken time to give feedback, share experiences and even give tips to writers.  This I believe is great encouragement for anyone who is serious about writing.

The vote button that shows up against every submission on the site is nothing short of a reward for a well written piece.  Getting a good number of votes for your story is motivation to do better and recognition for your work. 

I cannot describe the absolute rush of joy I experienced when I saw 21 Bizsugars against the piece I did on 5 Reasons Why Corporate Partnerships Are an Ace in the Social Entrepreneur’s Pack of Cards on Noobpreneur, a business blog I guest blog for.  I have been driven to write better ever since.  Wait…I just noticed my article Less is More & Small is Big: 4 Reasons Why Simple Business Models Are the Way to Go right here on TheOneOfAKindPreneur got 19 Bizsugars and I’m still counting!
